Photo Competition 'Holland in Hong Kong and Macao'

The Consulate General has launched a photo competition on ‘Holland in Hong Kong and Macao’. The 10 best photos will be printed on a set of postcards, 1st prize winner receives HKD 2000. Deadline for entry: 17 February 2012.

How to enter the competition:

  • Take a great picture!
  • Make sure your picture complies with the photo specifications
  • Complete the entry form
  • Email your completed entry form, and your photo to ba.besemer@minbuza.nl

Photo specifications:

  • photo should be black and white or colour
  • photo needs to have been taken in Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR
  • can be camera-made digital images or scans of prints
  • format: high-resolution .jpeg, .jpg, or .tiff files
  • Original negatives must be available for scanned photographs
  • The file should be between 1 MB and 10 MB in size

Procedure:

All pictures should be submitted before 17 February 2012. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of the picture, and the reason for taking the picture. Be creative, and be concise! The winning pictures will be printed on postcards and exhibited at the Consulate-General. Up to 2 March 2012, the 10 winning pictures will be published on Facebook so that people can vote for the best picture. The picture with most votes will win the first prize of 2000 HKD!
