Organised by the University of Groningen, the 22nd ISCOMS will be held in Groningen from 2-5 June 2015.
The national commemoration of the flight MH17 disaster will take place on Monday 10 November in Amsterdam. The commemoration is accessible by invitation only. The persons invited are the surviving relatives of the victims and persons involved in the air crash.
On a regular basis, the Netherlands economic network in China investigates how the business climate is experienced by Dutch companies established in China. Earlier business surveys were conducted in 2009 and 2012. In 2014 the survey was conducted once more. The results provide a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges companies are facing when doing business in China.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands was today elected to the Human Rights Council for the 2015-2017 period by the UN General Assembly. Foreign minister Bert Koenders welcomes the Netherlands’ membership of the council. ‘What happened today underlines the importance the Netherlands places on human rights worldwide,’ said the minister.
King Willem-Alexander has appointed Bert Koenders as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mr Koenders was sworn in by the King at Noordeinde Palace on Friday 17 October 2014.
