How to get to the Consulate-General from Hong Kong International Airport

The Consulate-General is situated on the 57th floor of the Cheung Kong Center, at 2 Queen’s Road in Central, the major business district on Hong Kong Island. From Hong Kong International Airport, it is advised to take the Airport Express train.

After having cleared Immigration and Customs passengers will either enter section A or section B of the Arrival Hall. In the Arrival Hall there are signs that say “to the trains”. Follow the sign s. Do not forget to buy a ticket, either from ticket issuing machines or from the Customer Service Centre in the arrival hall. There are single journey and return tickets. The latter have a validity of up to 30 days.

The ride with the Airport Express to Hong Kong Station in Central takes 2 4 minutes. The service operates from 05.54 a.m. to 00.48 a.m. every day of the year and trains depart every 12 minutes. Upon arrival at Hong Kong Station proceed to the special designated taxi-area, on the opposite side of the arrival hall. The taxi ride from Hong Kong Station to the Cheung Kong Center takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

The Cheung Kong Center is situated near several five star international hotels. These hotels are Conrad International Hong Kong, Island Shangri-la, J.W. Marriott, and Mandarin Oriental.

Free Airport Express Shuttle Service

At Hong Kong and Kowloon stat ions, regular daily shuttle buses will pick and drop you off at major hotels and key transport interchanges. When boarding the bus, you will be asked for proof of eligibility.

Service hours are from 06.20 a.m. to 23.10 p.m. at 12-24 minutes intervals.
